We all heard the term “Escargot”. There is more to snails in the culinary scene than the French dish. Snails can be fresh watered and or ocean based. They can be found in many European dishes across all countries.
Though not all snails are edible, when found they are considered a delicacy to poor food cuisine in any aspect. Snails have a bad reputation since what we see are mainly land snails, but these can be consumed as well and depending on which way prepped will determine strongly on the taste and texture.
